Simon Butcher

Simon’s experience over a twenty-year career as a DoP is as wide as it gets. Starting in documentary, he has successfully moved into narrative, working across long-running drama series and shorts. Coming from a fine art background, he has a strong aesthetic eye, balanced with commercial and practical sensibility. He is popular amongst directors and producers alike, described as a “great team player with one eye on the schedule and the other on the creativity”. Simon is based in London and available for work worldwide.
