Michael’s first job in production was as a spark in the lighting department. He soon moved up to become a gaffer and worked under DPs like Phedon Papamichael, Wally Pfister and Michael Grady, before moving further up the ladder and becoming a DP himself. A former resident of Los Angeles and then Atlanta, he’s now an Irish resident and maintains his US citizenship. He’s happy to go where the work takes him.
