Nicola is an English-Australian director and screenwriter living in London. Via her production company Rocket Room, she has a development deal with Michael Grade’s StoryFirst shingle for her TV series COMBUSTIONE and she’s also been commissioned by the company to write the Pilot and shape a new series from a story by House of Cards writer and exec producer Michael Dobbs. She also wrote, directed and produced a film called TREASURE starring Samantha Bond for the BBC’s Culture In Quarantine in 2020, and her script DISC made top 10 on The Red List (USA), was a semi-finalist in Wescreenplay scifi competition, selected for JETS in 2019 and signed to Global Genesis USA 2020. Nicola also works as a script consultant and is on the board of Euroscript. She’s also written, directed and/or produced numerous shorts that have been screened in festivals all over the world. And in a previous life, she was a resident character on HOME & AWAY for Australia’s 7 Network and the BBC.
