Ian moved into film production design in 2021, following more than a decade designing and directing immersive live events across the North East of England. His credits span feature films and shorts across genres including psychological horror, thriller and coming-of-age dramas. Ian’s approach is rooted in detailed research, practical problem-solving and close collaboration with directors to develop environments that support the story and visual language of each project. Based in the North East of England, with additional bases in the North West and London, he is well positioned to work across the UK.
